Surbhi Chandna and Karan Sharma are enjoying a new phase in life. After years of being together, the pair tied the knot in March this year at Chomu Palace in Rajasthan. Each and every festivity of her wedding was grand and colourful. Post their wedding ceremony, Surbhi shared several glimpses of events on social media. In the latest, the actress performed her Chooda vandhana ritual where she took off the auspicious wedding bangles.
The actress was no doubt attached to her chooda and seemed quite emotional during this ritual. In the video, a family member is seen carefully removing Surbhi’s white and pink chooda and later, soaking it in milk water. It was then wrapped in a red cloth. Surbhi was given another set of bangles to wear. Later the actress prayed and kept the chooda at her home temple. Expressing her feelings, Surbhi wrote, “My Chuda Vadhana Rasam. This Chuda became such a significant part of my life and it had its own Fan Base and it was finally time to bid adieu to my piece of heart on this beautiful occasion of Akshaya Tritiya to only preserve & Cherish it forever. Miss you Already.”
Fans resonated with Surbhi’s emotions. A user wrote, “The video has my whole heart, while another stated, “Aww…gonna miss seeing choodas in your hands.”
Back in March, Surbhi Chandna posted multiple photos from her chooda ceremony, capturing moments with her family while they conducted the ritual. A few photographs showed Karan Sharma performing rituals with his family. Sharing about the ceremony, Surbhi wrote, “Felt such a rush of emotions during my chooda ceremony I avoided making eye contact with mum and dad cause then I Knew I would start feeling the void of Drifting apart. My Heart felt Excitement To Start This New Phase of life, the Pain Of Leaving My Parents and so much more. We wanted our wedding To be Joyous & Happy for all and Wanted to see Our Family Smile all along to see us tying the knot.”
On the professional front, Surbhi Chandna has been part of a number of shows such as Qubool Hai, Ishqbaaz, Sanjivani, and Naagin 5. The actress was last seen playing a young and independent mother in the romantic comedy television series Sherdil Shergill, opposite Dheeraj Dhoopar.
