Jind: Even after around over years in a Haryana’s village in Jind district BJP-JJP leaders are still banned. Villagers of Durana village had erected a iron board at the outskirts of the village citing that BJP-JJP leaders are not allowed to enter this village. The board erected by bhartiya kisan union reads that ‘BJP-JJP netao ka gaanv me aana mana hai’.BKU activists and villagers set up this board during farmers‘ agitation against three repealed laws in 2020-21 in support of farmers. Durana village comes under Uchana Kalan segment of Jind district which is represented by former deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala and the latter was not allowed to enter in his constituency from the begining of the then farmer’s agitation and till end.
Talking to TOI, Azad Palwa, a Jind based farmer unionist stated that this board recalls the pain and hurdles given by then BJP-JJP coalition government at the time of 14 months long protest.
People will teach a lesson to both parties in the upcoming elections. “We have lost 750 farmers in 2020-21 but all leaders kept silence. This board will recall the atrocities done by the saffron party on farmers. When people will step out from homes on May 25, they will remember the cruelty of BJP-JJP leaders. At that time we had banned entry of leaders in villages and now voters are invoked to ban them from coming into power again. BJP-JJP leaders would be boycotted in the upcoming elections,” he added.
