Madhoo, who is known for her roles in hit 90s films like Phool Aur Kaante and Roja, recently opened up about her past decisions in the entertainment industry, including turning down the opportunity to star in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Baazigar.
Addressing the question of regret regarding her decision not to do Baazigar, Madhoo told Bollywood Bubble, “I don’t regret not (doing Baazigar).Because past mein joh tha, ussi ke wajeh se hum yaha hai. Regret waisa main nahi karti. (We are what we are today because of how the past was. I don’t have any regrets.)”
Reflecting on missing opportunities to work with Bollywood’s Khans – Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan in the 90s, Madhoo mentioned, “I did accept Aamir, I did have movies with Salman and Shah Rukh, which didn’t materialize, which didn’t release. Ek ek schedule ke baad band ho gaya… (One film got put on hold after its first schedule.) I don’t even give it a thought. This is exactly how my life played out. It’s just ok.”
