Kicked Out, US Army Begins Leaving Ex-Ally Nation, As Russia Moves In: Biden Loses Niger To Putin?


The US began withdrawing soldiers and military equipment from Niger on June 7. More than 269 out of 946 US soldiers have left the country in a C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft. The withdrawal came after the signing of an agreement between Washington and the Niamey military regime in May. Both nations set a September 15 deadline for the complete withdrawal of American soldiers.
