Kangana Ranaut declares assets worth Rs 91 Crore as she files nomination in Mandi; says win will be ‘biggest turning point’ |

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut officially filed her nomination for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 as a BJP candidate from the Mandi parliamentary in Himachal Pradesh.
Accompanied by her mother Asha Ranaut, sister Rangoli Chandel, and party leaders Jai Ram Thakur and Rajeev Bindal, Kangana dressed in a green saree and a traditional headgear as she filed her nomination.According to the poll papers, Kangana declared assets worth Rs 91 crore.
In a detailed listing, she declared 6.70 kg gold worth Rs 5 crore, 15-carat diamonds worth Rs 3 crore and 60 silver valued Rs 50 lakh. Additionally, she declared investments in 50 LIC policies.

The Bollywood actress also listed down her four luxury vehicles, including a Mercedes-Maybach of worth Rs 3.9 crore, a BMW of Rs 98.25 lakh, a Mercedes Benz for Rs 58.65 lakh and a Vespa scooter.
She also revealed that she owns 7 commercial and 2 residential buildings.
The actress also revealed that she has eight cases registered against her and that she bears a debt of Rs 17 crore.
In a statement to the media, Kangana described it as a matter of pride to contest from the constituency. She confidently said, “I have been successful in Bollywood, and I am hopeful that I will achieve success in the field of politics as well.”

She went on to admit that a win in the elections would be the “biggest turning point” of her life.
The actress, who has been using her social media platform to campaign, shared a video featuring glimpses of herself filing her nomination and also visuals from her rally. “Empower your daughter, empower Mandi. Vote for Mandi ki Beti,” she captioned the post.
