The next chapter in the ‘Game of Thrones‘ universe titled ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight‘, is set to debut next year.
According to the latest update shared by HBO, the prequel series will premiere in 2025. This exciting news was revealed by Casey Bloys, during an event held on Wednesday, May 15.
Production for the new series is already underway. Set in a time when the Targaryen dynasty still reigns on the Iron Throne and the last dragon is still a living memory.The series promises great destinies, formidable foes, and daring adventures. The story will follow the journey of Ser Duncan the Tall, a young, naive, but courageous knight, portrayed by Peter Claffey. Dexter Sol Ansell will star opposite Claffey as Egg.
Author George R.R. Martin, the creator of the original ‘Game of Thrones’ series, will serve as both a writer and executive producer for ‘The Hedge Knight,’ alongside Ira Parker.
In related news, the second season of the ‘Game of Thrones’ spin-off ‘House of the Dragon‘ will be available for streaming in India on June 17. The episodes, available in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi, will be released weekly every Monday, simultaneously with the US.

‘House of the Dragon,’ based on George R.R. Martin’s book ‘Fire & Blood,’ explores the history of House Targaryen, set 300 years before the events of ‘Game of Thrones.’ The second season will feature returning stars Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, and many others, alongside new cast members such as Abubakar Salim, Gayle Rankin, and Freddie Fox.
