Aishwarya, who stars as Queen Nandini in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan – 2, is nominated for Best Actress at SIIMA. The film has also earned nominations for Mani Ratnam as Best Director and Vikram as Best Actor.

Last week, Aishwarya, Aaradhya and Aishwarya’s mother Brindya Rai were seen at a Ganesh Chaturthi event in Mumbai, where they offered prayers. Aishwarya was seen protecting her mother from the crowd while escorting her to their car.
Last month, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were spotted in New York. A fan had shared a selfie with Aishwarya and called her idol. This user, named Jerée Reyna also revealed in the comments that Aishwarya was there in New York for a holiday.
Aishwarya and Abhishek, who married in 2007 and welcomed daughter, Aaradhya, born in 2011.
On work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan 2 and she’s limited her on-screen presence which makes fans miss her. Meanwhile, Abhishek who was last seen in Ghoomer, has Remo D’souza and Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming movies lined up for release for him. The actor is also back to the Housefull franchise in the fifth installment of the movie.
