After several rumors, easter eggs and leaks (Thanks, Bank of Baroda), American rock act Linkin Park have finally confirmed their appearance at Lollapalooza India 2026, marking their long-awaited debut show in the country.
Linkin Park—who released their comeback album From Zero in 2024—will perform on Jan. 25, 2026 at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai. The band sent out a newsletter to fans with the poster ahead of general ticket sales for the festival set to open at 12 noon IST.
LP co-founder Mike Shinoda said in a quote attributed to him in the newsletter, “India has been somewhere we’ve wanted to play for a long time. Our fans there are incredibly passionate and we can’t wait to finally bring our live show to them.”
Further details about the Lollapalooza India lineup are still awaited, but we now have a confirmation from the band themselves. The India debut is part of LP’s From Zero World Tour, which has spanned more than a year now after the release of their album, which features new vocalist Emily Armstrong, alongside drummer Colin Brittain and live guitarist Alex Federer.
It was in September 2024 that the band kickstarted a new chapter following vocalist Chester Bennington’s death in 2017. While a lot of silence followed a heartfelt tribute concert to Bennington in October 2017–the band’s last performance back then–they rolled out new members, arena tour dates and new music in the form of the song “The Emptiness Machine,” their first since their 2017 album One More Light.
The show was also listed on the band’s website among tour dates in Bahrain and the U.A.E., although these show listings were later taken down.
