It’s a double bill of international pop for Gangtok, with U.K. pop group Blue and K-pop group Everglow slated to stop by Paljor Stadium on Dec. 13, 2025. The concert, billed as Orchid Music Festival, marks 50 years of Sikkim’s statehood.
The show is also part of Blue’s 25th anniversary world tour, which has two more stops in India. They’ll also perform in Shillong at Polo Grounds on Dec. 11, 2025, and in Bengaluru at Phoenix Marketcity on Dec. 14, 2025, bringing early 2000s pop hits like “One Love,” “All Rise,” “Guilty” and their renditions of tunes like “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” by Elton John and “Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)” by Stevie Wonder. Tickets are now live for all three shows. Tickets for all three shows will go on sale via District (Gangtok and Shillong) and SkillBox (Bengaluru show).
The group arrives in India after about two decades, last performing in the early 2000s. “One Love” was adapted into Hindi by singer Shaan in 2003. Although shows were announced in 2023 and 2024 in India, the band’s return to India kept getting canceled or postponed. This year, the band makes its long-awaited return with a fully restructured production plan and strong on-ground infrastructure,” a press release says.
The Shillong show is presented by Assam event company Fukra, while the Gangtok show with Everglow is put together by Shillong’s Rockski EMG (who run Cherry Blossom Festival), Sonju Pvt Ltd and has support of the Sikkim government. Rockski EMG & event company E365 are jointly producing the Bengaluru show.
For Everglow, it marks the group’s debut performance in India, anticipated to attract thousands of fans from the region and beyond. The quartet—E:U, Sihyeon, Onda, and Aisha—known for their powerful performances and hits including “Dun Dun,” “Bon Bon,” “Chocolat,” “Adios,” and “Pirate”—are considered one of the most popular K-pop girl acts worldwide.
The event is being billed as a cultural milestone for Sikkim’s tourism and culture. “We are thrilled to host Everglow in Sikkim,” said Jason Manners, founder of Rockski, adding that the performance “is not just a concert—it’s a statement that Sikkim is ready to stand on the global stage. Everglow’s performance will mark the beginning of a new chapter in the state’s international entertainment footprint.”
The statement captures the excitement around the show, promising an electrifying K‑pop sound framed by the stunning Himalayan foothills.
