Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 19 arrived in Vietnam on a two-day visit. Putin flew to Hanoi straight from North Korea where he made a rare trip to meet Kim Jong-un. The United States condemned the visit, saying it risks normalising Russia’s “blatant violations of international laws”.
