A recent video of international pop sensation Selena Gomez’s interaction with an Indian fan is going viral on the internet. In the video, an Indian man asks the American singer-actor to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and Salena Gomez reacts in the sweetest way possible.
The video begins with Selena featuring in the selfie clip with the fan. The ‘Calm Down’ singer who is known to be one of the politest stars, was smiling and pouting in the video. The fan thanked her for the pictures and then made a little request. He asked if she could chant “Jai Shri Ram.” He tried to explain to the singer that in India it is the best slogan. To this request, the singer-actress politely replied, “Aww, thank you, honey,” and gave a side hug to the fan.
As the video went viral, fans noticed that this wasn’t a recent video, as Selena’s outfit was the one she wore to the Cannes Film Festival this year.

This isn’t the first time Selena has melted hearts with her sweet fan interaction. Almost a month back in September, she attended the 2024 Telluride Film Festival. She was there to promote her new film ‘Emilia Pérez,’ and despite her busy schedule, she took time out to visit a local volleyball team because of a special request.
She saw a poster in the town that read – “Selena Gomez, please sing the National Anthem @ one of [our] home games,” before offering dates and times and signing off, “THS Volleyball Team” with a heart.” The ‘Who Says’ singer was touched by this gesture and she met the team at their school and shared glimpses of the same on her Instagram with the caption – “They asked!! Couldn’t help it, it’s my first time in Telluride!”
