New look: India will don this jersey in the T20 World Cup.

With the Men’s T20 World Cup two months away, former India captain Rohit Sharma unveiled the national team’s jersey for the marquee event during the mid-innings break of the second ODI against South Africa at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium here on Wednesday.
Rohit was joined by Tilak Varma for the presentation, during which BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia and adidas representatives formally handed over the World Cup jerseys to the duo.
Rohit — who led India to the T20 World Cup title in 2024 — has also been named Tournament Ambassador for the 2026 edition, which will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
