The upcoming 8th edition of eco-conscious music festival Echoes of Earth in Bengaluru will bring in German genre-bending electronic act Monolink, deep house and techno duo Bedouin, Belgian jazz-electronic band Stavroz, U.K. electronic band Submotion Orchestra and more to perform on Dec. 13 and 14, 2025.
Slated to return to Embassy International Riding School, the lineup also includes Circle of Live, led by Swedish veteran artist Sebastian Mullaert and described as an “improvisational project” featuring Belgian DJ-producer Peter Van Hoesen and American artist Erika. Austrian handpan proponent Manu Delago also returns to India with a trio set at the festival.
Indian-origin artists like Madame Gandhi and producer Anish Kumar share billing alongside Nigeria-raised artist Aroop Roy, while French act Grayssoker will bring more genre-bending tunes that are distinctive to the festival’s curatorial spirit.
Among the other acts to watch include Indonesian act Bottlesmoker, who “will reimagine the relationship between nature and music by transforming plants and fruits into living instruments, delivering performances that will be as experimental as they are imaginative,” a press release says.
Indian draws at Echoes of Earth 2025 include Chennai rock act The F16s, Mumbai post-punk, shoegaze-inspired band Long Distances, fusion artist Varijashree Venugopal, Chennai jazz-driven act Jatayu, Bengaluru singer-songwriter Rudy, jazz band Derek & The Cats, plus DJ-producers such as Dotdat, Focus Group Sound System, Aagu and Nida, among others.
Conservation and sustainability are also a key part of the festival in addition to the music, with workshops, community-led initiatives and other activities taking place across two days.
Festival founder and director Roshan Netalkar says, “For me, Echoes of Earth has always been about bringing people together through music, art, and a shared love for nature. Over the years, we’ve built a proven playbook for success, managing the large-format festival end-to-end with care for the planet. Now, we’re thrilled to take the festival to a bigger scale and welcome our community back to enjoy this experience once again,”
The festival has also partnered with Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (BIAL), so expect live performances at the airport as the festival approaches.
