Hamas mounted over 14 different attacks on the IDF from southern to northern Gaza as Israeli forces and tanks marched on in Rafah and Jabalia under the cover of fighter jets and drones. Hamas’ armed wing – the Al-Qassam Brigades – claimed to have blown up several Merkava tanks, a D9 bulldozer and other Israeli military vehicles with Al-Yassin 105 and P29 shells and mortars during their assaults.
