As K-pop supergroup BTS gears up for a long-anticipated comeback that has already sent fans and listeners from around the world into a frenzy, the buzz doesn’t just stop at the music. The trailer for the BTS Movie Weeks just dropped, riding the global wave of excitement straight into theaters.
Coming to theaters worldwide from September 24 to October 5, BTS’s most iconic concerts are back on the big screen, remastered in stunning 4K and 5.1 surround sound for an immersive experience. A Big Hit Music, HYBE, and Trafalgar Releasing collaboration, BTS Movie Weeks will include four concert films that have never been seen in theaters before. This includes BTS 2016 Live The Most Beautiful Moment in Life On Stage: Epilogue, which follows the group’s early days through performances of hits like “Fire,” “Save Me,” “Autumn Leaves,” and “Butterfly” and BTS 2017 Live Trilogy Episode III The Wings Tour the Final, which captures BTS’ meteoric rise with renditions of the iconic “Blood Sweat & Tears,” “DNA,” and “MIC Drop.” The showcase will also feature BTS 2019 World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself London, which brings the magic of a groundbreaking performance at Wembley Stadium which marked a historic moment in their journey, and BTS 2021 Muster Sowoozoo, which revives the excitement of BTS’s 8th anniversary celebration in a vibrant outdoor performance.
This event will reimagine everything from the energy-packed performances to the emotional connections with the fans for the big screen. According to btsmovieweeks.com, “The roaring applause, the heat of the night, and the thrill that echoed within our hearts—the heartfelt moments that brought BTS and Army together unfold once more on screen.” Deadline reports that over 2,500 theaters across more than 65 countries will screen these films. While tickets for the global screenings went on sale on Aug. 27, 2025, there is no official confirmation yet on whether it will be screened in Indian theaters.
Following their military service, with Suga’s discharge on June 21, 2025, the seven BTS members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—reunited for a Weverse livestream on July 1, giving fans a glimpse into what’s next for the group.
During the broadcast, BTS confirmed they’re working on a new album set for release in spring 2026, with a world tour on the horizon, and RM hinted at upcoming collaborative sessions in different cities as they work on the project together.
