Polish extreme metal veterans Behemoth will stop by India as part of their Chant of the Eastern Lands Tour, performing in Bengaluru on Mar. 3, 2026.

The band, who are known for their ritualistic and intense live shows, will take the stage alongside metallers Nidhogg at Phoenix Marketcity in Bengaluru, with their India return presented by SkillBox and their festival and gig series BigHorn. Pre-sale tickets will begin on Oct. 17, at 12 pm on the SkillBox app and website.

Starting in March, Behemoth’s Asia and Australia tour kicks off in February in Athens, Greece and lists Bengaluru as their final stop in March, although more dates are expected to be announced.

Behemoth, led by Nergal, Orion, Seth and Inferno, made their India debut in September 2016 at Deccan Rock Festival in Hyderabad. “We’re deflowering India. It always feels super exciting to be somewhere for the first time, so we’re definitely never going to forget that,” Nergal told Rolling Stone India in a video interview ahead of their performance.

At their Hyderabad show, Nergal–who had spent time in Varanasi as well before the concert–signed off saying, “We should have played here a long time ago. Please accept our apologies, we promise we will keep on coming back to your beautiful country and share your energy. Until then, you stay strong!”

In the decade since their visit, Behemoth have remained a mainstay act who walk the line between extreme and polished metal. Releasing albums like I Loved You At Your Darkest (2018) and In Absentia Dei in 2021 and Opvs Contra Natvram in 2022, Behemoth marked 30 years in action with a live album and then released their 13th and most recent album, The Shit ov God in 2025.

Stay tuned for Behemoth tickets on SkillBox.
