With popular festivals making a comeback, new ones launching, and international names joining the mix, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re into massive EDM shows, intimate indie gatherings, or culture-driven experiences, here are some of the most anticipated music festivals and concerts happening across the region this year.
Fred Again.. Asia Tour
When: Between July 18 to July 25
Fred Again… is set to make his solo debut in Asia this July with headline shows across Singapore, Bangkok, and Seoul, followed by a festival performance at Fuji Rock in Japan. The Asia tour kicks off with two sold-out nights at Singapore’s Pasir Panjang Power Station on July 18 and 19, before moving to Bangkok’s UOB Live on July 21 and Seoul’s KINTEX Hall 10 on July 23. These intimate yet high-energy shows are part of a limited run ahead of his appearance at Fuji Rock Festival on July 25.
Fuji Rock Japan
When: July 25-27
Japan’s longest-running music festival returns to Naeba Ski Resort from July 25 to 27. The 2025 lineup includes Fred Again.., Vulfpeck, Vampire Weekend, Little Simz, James Blake, RADWIMPS, and HYUKOH, along with a slate of international and Japanese artists. With its combination of global acts, mountain backdrops, and deep-rooted community spirit, Fuji Rock remains one of Asia’s most iconic large-scale festivals.
One Universe Festival, Seoul
When: August 15-16
One Universe Festival is set to return to Seoul on August 15 and 16, 2025, at the Seoul Grand Park parking lot, bringing together a high-energy mix of global and local talent. The lineup includes international headliners like Charli XCX and Charlie Puth, alongside regional stars such as BIBI, Phum Viphurit, and Zion.T. Known for infusing music with fashion, car culture, and visual art, the two-day event has quickly earned a reputation for its immersive, youth-driven atmosphere.
Tyler, the Creator Asia Tour
When: Between September 9 to September 20
Tyler, the Creator is set to bring his Chromakopia: The World Tour to Asia in September 2025, marking his first full-scale run across the region. The tour kicks off on September 9 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, followed by shows at KINTEX Hall 10 in Seoul on September 13, Impact Arena in Bangkok on September 16, and Araneta Coliseum in Manila on September 20. The performances will feature support from Paris Texas, with Lil Yachty joining select dates. These stops come at the tail end of a massive global tour in support of Chromakopia, Tyler’s eighth studio album, and offer fans across Asia a long-awaited chance to see the genre-defying artist live.
Ziro Festival, Arunachal Pradesh, India
When: September 25-28
Held in the stunning Ziro Valley, this four-day open-air festival returns from September 25–28, 2025. Known for its bamboo-built stages and eco-conscious ethos, Ziro showcases indie, folk, and experimental acts from across India and beyond. While the 2025 lineup is still under wraps, last year featured artists like Hanumankind, Parikrama, and Tamikrest. Hosted in partnership with the local Apatani tribe, the festival fuses music with cultural workshops, local cuisine, and breathtaking landscapes, offering a community-driven, off-the-grid experience that’s unlike any other in India’s festival calendar.
DGTL India
When: Between October 3 to 5
DGTL returns to India this year for its 5th edition, spreading across two cities. It starts in Bengaluru at the JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire Resort on October 3–4, followed immediately in Mumbai at the NESCO Centre on October 4–5 with a lineup of techno and deep house heavyweights including Anfisa Letyago, Hector Oaks, Yotto, Ellen Allien, and Helena Hauff.
Oasis Reunion Tour in Korea and Japan
When: Between October 21 to 26
Oasis will headline stadium shows in Asia as part of their global reunion tour, marking their first appearances in the region in nearly two decades. The band will perform at Goyang Stadium in South Korea on October 21, followed by back-to-back shows at Tokyo Dome on October 25 and 26. The comeback tour is expected to draw massive crowds, revisiting their classic catalog with immersive production and a renewed fan base across Asia.
Travis Scott Asia and South Africa Tour
When: Between October 18 and November 8
Travis Scott has confirmed a major Asia leg for his Circus Maximus World Tour this autumn, marking a high-profile return to the region. The tour kicks off in Delhi with back-to-back shows at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 18–19. It then moves to Seoul, where he’ll perform at Goyang Stadium on October 25, followed by a concert in Sanya, Hainan at Sanya Sports Stadium on November 1. The Asia run concludes with a show at Belluna Dome near Tokyo on November 8. These five dates join stops in South Africa and other continents, making this extended tour the most expansive Travis Scott Asia itinerary to date.
Rolling Loud India and Thailand
When: Thailand—November 14-16, India— Dates to be revealed
Rolling Loud’s rapid expansion continues with two highly anticipated festivals in Asia. The India edition, a first for the brand, is expected to take place in Mumbai later this year in partnership with Zomato’s District app. While exact dates are still under wraps, this marks a significant step for hip-hop’s growing presence in the Indian market. Meanwhile, Rolling Loud Thailand will return to Pattaya from November 14 to 16 with a multi-day lineup of global rap and hip-hop acts, following a successful inaugural edition in 2023.
Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival, Meghalaya
When: November 14-15
India’s only autumn cherry blossom celebration returns to Shillong from November 14–15, 2025, during the peak bloom of Himalayan cherry trees. Set against the backdrop of Meghalaya’s rolling hills, the festival blends natural beauty with pop culture, featuring global headliners like Jason Derulo and The Script alongside Indian acts. Visitors can explore local cuisine, wine tastings, fashion shows, art installations, and glowing cherry blossom trails. With its mix of music, culture, and nature, the festival has become one of Northeast India’s most anticipated annual events, drawing crowds from across the country for a uniquely scenic two-day celebration.
Tomorrowland China
When: November 22
Tomorrowland will bring its first-ever indoor event to China this year. Titled The Magic of Tomorrowland, the spectacle will unfold on November 22 at the Hero Dome along Shanghai’s Bund waterfront. The immersive experience will feature the brand’s iconic Paperworld stage design, international headliners, and a focus on showcasing top Chinese electronic acts. This move marks the global brand’s growing commitment to the Asian market, following previous satellite events in Taiwan and Japan.
Echoes of Earth, Bengaluru, India
When: December 6-7
Echoes of Earth is set to return to Bengaluru on December 6–7, 2025, for its 8th edition, continuing its reputation as India’s greenest, most eco-conscious music gathering. The two-day festival spans four stages across 170 acres, showcasing over 50 Indian and international artists, though the full lineup is still to be revealed.
Known for its zero-plastic policy, solar-powered stages, upcycled art installations, and circular design, it offers holistic experiences beyond music, including wellness workshops, flea markets with artisanal goods, and environmental education sessions.
Wonderfruit, Thailand
When: December 11-15
Returning to The Fields at Siam Country Club in Chonburi from December 11 to 15, Wonderfruit will celebrate a decade of shaping Southeast Asia’s festival ethos around sustainability, wellness, and culture. The 2025 edition will once again center around multidisciplinary experiences, ranging from electronic and world music to regenerative food programs, art installations, and wellness workshops. Known for its eco-conscious production and deeply engaged community, Wonderfruit continues to lead the charge for mindful raving in the region.
Creamfields Thailand
When: December 13-14
Creamfields Asia will debut in Thailand as a fully indoor, multi-stage festival on December 13 and 14, 2025. Set to take over the Impact Exhibition & Convention Center in Bangkok, this edition promises to be the largest Creamfields event ever held in Asia. With a projected attendance of 50,000 and a lineup expected to feature some of the biggest names in electronic music, the event marks a major milestone for Southeast Asia’s festival circuit.
Magnetic Fields, Rajasthan, India
When: Dates to be revealed
Held annually at Alsisar Mahal in Rajasthan, Magnetic Fields has carved out a unique space as one of India’s most immersive boutique music experiences. Though its 2025 dates and lineup are yet to be announced, the festival typically takes place in early December. Known for spotlighting cutting-edge electronic and alternative music from India and around the world, Magnetic Fields also weaves in art installations, heritage narratives, and deep desert-inspired ambiance.
