Ananya Panday is in full swing promoting her latest show, ‘Call Me Bae‘. In a recent chat with Sucharita Tyagi, Ananya opened up about her experiences as a young actor in Bollywood. She revealed that she isn’t afraid to speak her mind, citing a moment on the set of Liger when she voiced her discomfort with certain lines in the script that her character had to say.She wasn’t ‘okay’ with everything and made sure her concerns were heard.

Liger was a sports action drama directed by Puri Jagannadh, marking Vijay Deverakonda‘s Bollywood debut and Ananya Panday’s first bilingual film. Vijay portrayed an MMA fighter, but despite the anticipation, the film struggled to make an impact at the box office and failed to impress audiences.

Ananya will next be seen in Call Me Bae, premiering on Prime Video on September 6. The show features an ensemble cast including Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur. Executive producers include Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra.
